Bruce Applebaum

"If you are thinking about choosing Dr. Applebaum as your surgeon I think it is a great idea to attend an education seminar given by him personally. You get a really good feel for who he is and what his standards of practice are. He is a very honest and to the point person. He answers all questions you have without hesitation. He shows concern and seems to truly care about your concerns as well. The office staff was very helpful and friendly for the most part. However, there are probably bad apples in every bunch. In this case it was the flaky front desk person that was working the second day I was at the clinic. She neglected to give me my pre-op packet. By chance I went back to the office to ask for directions to the hospital and was given my pre-op packet at that time. Once you have your surgery date make sure they give you the pre-op packet so you can do the pre-op over the phone. Otherwise you will be travelling to El Paso three days before your surgery for a 15 minute interview! If you are not from El Paso and traveling a long distance, make sure you inform them so that you can get everything scheduled at once. If something isn't clear ask questions. Overall, I think Dr. Applebaum's staff has been wonderful. I will post more after my surgery date."
