Had my knee worked on again.  I had it done 10 years ago but alas it did not last.  I am working toward my goal of surgery and as always if everything works out perfectly then it will happen.  If things don't happen smoothly then I will live to fight another day....

Hi I have been working on my doctors visits because according to my insurance I have to have 12 monthly visits before I quailfy for the surgery.  Even then I have several other things like nutritionist visits which I'm doing already to get out of the way.  I do not have diabetes yet but am boarderline right now I guess we have to wait till we get the disease before the insurance will finally wise up hmmmm....  Anyway I am trying to look at the brighter side of things I did get approved for a knee procedure and am sitting on my couch at home recovering.  When I recover I get to have the other knee done woo-hoo.  I have to be careful about the meds I'm taking as far as pain because I have to be awake and aware of thing because I have a 2 yr old running around.  It's been interesting =O) and kind of painful but worth it in the long run I hope!

Well here it is another day.  I should be thankful I'm mostly healthy and I have a beautiful baby girl and a wonderful husband.  I finally found out about the insurance I have it is going to take one year to possibly get approval just to see the gastric bypass surgeon.  I have been putting off the appointments for a couple of months now.  I've been a little depressed about it.  I guess part of it is we are not anticipating being here with this insurance for a year and I don't feel like putting all of the work into it and then turning around and being disappointed once again.  Anyway I worked with insurances in the past and I kind of know the In's and outs but I am so discouraged.  I know its part of the process because when my husband decided he was going to start looking into it man it was so crazy.  I think it was about four or five years till he actually got a surgery date.  I did a lot of leg work on that one.  We are very thankful for his surgery hes lost almost 300lbs and I am so happy I have someone like him in my life.  Anyway more on another day because if you can believe it my 19 month old daughter needs my attention!
