Hello, I am a 57 yr old grandma and anew wife... I have been overweight for most of my adult life. Everyone knows the yoyo with a diet lose some gain more did all that.. developed some health issues like hig blodd pressure, sleep apnea, diabetics so after many years of thinking and research I decided on weight loss surgery and my primary doctor even agreed at last. So I have surgery on 4/14/09 at the Batrix center in Grovepost with Dr. Custer. I have been on my low calorie diet since 3/13 and go to full liquids on 4/11 the clear liquids 4/13 at noon. all kinds of emotions are going on some not so good but mostly happy happy happy....... My new husband supports this decision and figures he will lose some of his extra too.. my grown kids are being supportive too so I have a great group of family and some good friends cheering me on...I know this is truly the beginning of a brand new life and I am getting so excited 13 days to go.......
