Here's the instructions Andrea gave me:
1) Go to www.tickerfactory.com and create your ticker until you've reached the finished design.
2) Right click on the final ticher & select "copy"
3) Come back to this forum & select "User Settings" on the left side of the page
4) In the signature portion of your user settings, right click & select "paste". Your ticker should appear in the box.
5) Make sure your signature is enabled & save your work.
6) Go back to the Ontario forum. Refresh the screen & you should be able to view your ticker.
So glad I figured this out ... thanks to my friends

Tickers:
I don't know if you have gotten to your ticker production yet.
If you haven't
find someone’s ticker and you will see above it “ticker factory”.
Click on that. If it doesn't work on one find another.
You can actually click on the actual ticker
if you are just trying to change your ticket by updating it.
This will take you to the site.
Click “create your own ticker.”
Scroll down and click on “Weight loss”.
It shows different tickers.
Click on one that you like.
Click next at the bottom of the page.
To get the clicker slider, choose one and click on the circle.
Click at the bottom of the page where it says “next”.
Choose a password.
Fill out the chart.
Click again on “next” at the bottom of the page.
Fill out the chart.
Click again on “next”.
Right click on the copy of your ticker.
Click copy.
Come back to this posting site. This may be difficult.
Do it like you got to the site the first time. That works for me.
There is a blue box at the left.
Click on “User Settings”.
You will see a box for signature.
At bottom of the page make sure you change the default editor to “plain text”.
Right click on box for signature.
If this is the first time it will be blank.
If it is the second time and you are updating your ticker click on the actual ticker in the box and paste your ticker.
Go to bottom of page and click on “enable signature”.
Click on “save”.
That should do it. Let me know if it works for you,

June 16, 2008 foods high in protein
Jun 16, 2008
Hmm next Wednesday is my big day. I am so ready for this. I still haven't got the nerve to post a picture on my profile. Since starting on the Optifast I have lost 13.5 lbs. Dr. Huynh should have an easy time working around my liver for sure. I am trying to do everything possible to ensure a great outcome. I think I should be drinking more water though since I seem to be a little constipated which is very unusual for me. I called the MIS Group today to confirm that i do not need to do clear liquirds 4 days before surgery. I don't - just stay on optifast until midnight the day before. ~m

Went to the HRRH for my appointment ... I thought I was just seeing the anethisatoialist (how the hell do I spell that word) I hope he doesn't hold it against me. Anyway, blood work, EKG, nurse, xray all completed. I am starting to feel more confident. Everyone seems to think I will be fine. Having some trouble with Optifast for some strange reason. Feeling constipated. Must drink more water. Hopefully my gulping will stop too. Why do I gulp - what's the hurry. I tried practicing drinking slowly but it is difficult for me. I lost my favorite shaker for optifast. Next stop the dietician classes at HRRH on June 16.
May 30 - surgery date is coming ... fast
May 30, 2008
Well I am very happy that I have this site to look at. It really helps me to prepare for the surgery. Went to see Dr. Dent to get a prescription for Optifast and bought one month's worth. I asked him if I might have sleep apnea - I told him that I snore alot and he didn't think I should be worried about it. He also sent me for some blood tests. Need to go to Toronto Monday to meet with the Anesthiasiologist (sppeeeellling). June 25th will be here before I know it.
May 14 - got my date
May 14, 2008
Got my surgery date today. June 25, 2008. Now I need to really take this seriously. I'm going to start on Optifast soon in order to lose some weight before surgery.
Will the day ever come?
May 13, 2008
Just being a little impatient. Wondering if my surgery date will ever come. Also wondering if there is a higher reason why there have been so many delays.
