Dear Mary~~~~I am glad that your recovery is going well. Keep strong. I was very sorry to read about your friend Michelle. I lost my best friend and kindred spirit, Joseph 49, to stomach cancer. That was 14 months ago and I still haven't acclimated to his being gone. I will keep you and Michelle's family in my prayers. Be well, be blessed.

Hi AMOS Family I had my Laproscopic RNY on Tuesday June 18, I got home from the hospital today around 11:30 am. All went well. I did not have a NG tube which I was thankful for. Dr. Adaniel said everything went well. I was happy to be home and see my children again. I spent Tuesday night in ICU and then got transfered to a regular room(private - I was lucky) Wednesday night about 6 pm. I couldn't walk right away because of the dizziness and nausea I felt from the morphine PCA pump. But I did my breathing exercises and moved my legs. Right now I am drinking my water and eating jello. I haven't used my pain medication from about 11:00 am on Wednesday. It is a bit uncomfortable but not enough for pain medication. Good luck to all. Thank you to all who signed my surgery page. I will be emailing when I can spend more time at the computer.
