Robyn.. I would still appeal.. do you have any comorbidies? Have your surgeon send a letter of medical nessecity... couldn't hurt.. It would be a whole lot less expensive to you.... Just a thought..... Good luck and congrats on the date!!

Roybn, I"m 5/4 & weigh 220! People don't think I should have this surgery either. I want to but I'm also afraid of what can happen during & after. I just can't seem to get control of my eating ...I know that I'm an emotional eater & that worries me...just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you! hang in there. Allison

I am waiting on approval from my insurance company. they were sent my file April 22, 2002. I am ready for this commitment I am making to myself, but sometimes forever seems like a very long time. There will always be people who are against what I want to do, but i am strong in my convictions that this is really the only thing that will be my "answer" I can no longer pychologically do the weight yo-yo. Im sure you all know what I mean. It is too demoralizing. well I will keep posting. Hopefully it will just be a few more days. Soon I'll be looking for an angel. anyone out thre from florida??? robyn r from florida
