Six weeks post op; down 38 pounds but don't feel that good and have way too much gas, can't eat milk or protein shakes (make me sick) and am in general not that pleased with how I feel at all.

Had surgery the 25th of August; some complications with excess fluid build up so had to stay in hospital and SICU for extra days; pretty harsh hospital stay but excellent care and I just kept thinking "I will make it through this". Deginitely had some pretty quick regrets and grieved being able to bite into a hambuger and some french fries! But am home now, looking ahead, and recovering. My family was wonderful; constant help and left when I told them to!

Notes: BRING large "wipettes" from Walmart" -- they were my godsend.
