Today I met with Dr. Melkonian.  My husband went with me which was nice and I think he learned alot.  This was our pre-op visit.  I can't believe it is really going to happen.  I feel like I have been working for this for a long time.  It is almost like planning a wedding or birth.  The excitement is overwhelming.  I feel like I am in very capable hands and only have a little bit of nervousness.  More about anesthesia, foley catheter, drainage tube... stuff like that.  I am actually looking forward to my liquid fast - which starts Tuesday.  I have been eating like crazy lately...
