Angel report. Kimberly is out of surgery and doing great. The surgery took a little longer and she wasnt in a room till a little after 6 pm. The Dr found some scar tissue that needed worked on before he could proceed with the surgery and her liver was larger than usuall. She is resting now and doing well. She thanks everyone for their kind words and prayers! Her room number is 536 at Saint V's if you want to give her a call tomorrow. She is a trooper!!!

Best Wishes for a successful surgery and smooth recovery! Weigh to go! I just read another post from someone who just had surgery and the thing that hurts the most is their BACK. And it is PAINFUL, not just uncomfortable. THE LAST THING YOU NEED TO TELL YOUR SURGEON, BEFORE THEY PUT YOU UNDER, IS TO PUT SOMETHING UNDER YOUR KNEES TO TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF YOUR BACK!!! Time and time again folks are coming out of the O.R. and their back is killing them. It’s because you are lying flat on your back for hours on a hard surface. How long can you do that now? If the surgeon will just put a rolled up blanket under your knees this problem will be eliminated! Got It?... Good…. Problem solved. (Or at least talk it over with him/her).
