Kara Mortimer
My name is Kara Wade. I was born and somewhat raised in Idaho. I am 26 years old. I have never been overweight as a child until my teenage years. I started gaining when I was 17 years old and continued to go up. My weight as a 16 and down were always normal weight. I graduated at 18 years old and my weight was 150 LBS. I am now 304.4 LBS. Every doctor that I have ever met or had told me " Kara you need to Lose weight or you'll die at a very younge age" and I started to look into WLS about 4 years ago. The insurance I had wouldn't pay for my surgery so I did a lot of dieting and taking things that I ended up going off of and then gaining plus more. So I felt like I had no way out. I kept gaining more and more, It didn't help matters much when I was on alot of weight gaining medications. I am SOOOO Ready for a new life plus more. I am now engaged to a great man who loves me inside and out. I couldnt ask for more.
