Hello My name is Kevin. I am currently in the 12 week Options Program through Kaiser. I have a beautiful wife named Lisa who I have been married to for 14 years and 3 wonderful kids. My oldest is Tyler and he is 13 and twins Justin and Kaitlynn who are 12. I enjoy bowling and have been bowling for 26 years. I have been a member of the Professional Bowlers Association since December of 2009. I also enjoy Baseball and help my son with his game.
Now for some medical history about me, I was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism and chose to have the right side of my Thyroid removed. Upon doing the surgery they had found Papilary cancer on the right side and had to remove the left side which also had cancer in it. I have chosen Bariatric surgery because I continue to gain weight and want to nip it now before I get older and have health issues. I really enjoy eating which will be my biggest challenge as I go through the program and after surgery. I have cut back on some foods and have noticed a difference in just a few weeks. I am looking forward to meeting new people within this program so we can share our stories and get healthier together.
