Well all its been 2 years now as of feb 19th and things couldnt be better, I have maintained my weight at 135 and am in a size 4/6. I finally had the courage to go back to school in may to get my high school diploma and on birthday may 11th I found out that I passed my test. This was the second greatest acomplishment I have bestowed to myself, the first was of coarse my surgery. I have since gotten a job in a hospital and have encouraged 2 of my friends to have the surgery which makes me feel wonderful. There success is going well and life is wonderful. Thanks for all the support. I`ll keep on updating everyone and I have posted a new picture....... thanks again Chrissie

Hello everyone, well I just wanted to check in and let you all know that I am down to 130, I am very happy with the results however I do not like the fact that I have all this extra flab and skin everywere. However, for the results it was worth it, everyone tells me that it takes about 2 years after surgery for your skin to restore as much elasticity as its gonna so I have 9 more months to wait and see what happens. It has been a year and 6 weeks since my surgery and I have lost more than what I weigh now and that is so cool. As much as the flab and extra skin bother me at times, it still does not stop me from wearing shorts, sleeveless shirts and my bikini. I have hid behind clothes my whole life so I refuse to be ashamed of my new body no matter what.I walk alot and do as much excerise as I am allowed and I use tons of firming lotion......lol. The way I see it, the way I look now beats weighing 270 pounds anyday. Well thank you all for the support and wonderful comments that you have given me, it helps even now to hear and if theres anyone out there that has any questions feel free to e-mail me. Well ,i am here to say HELL YES !!!!!! yesterday was my one year anniversary and i am here to tell you i have reached my goal weight of 135 "WOOHOO" I feel fantastic. Having this surgery was the best thing i could have ever done for myself. It was a rough road in the beginning but i am so happy that i made it and you will too. You just need to have faith and know that at the end of the rainbow there is a pot of gold. Thank all of you for your suppost and comments and feel free to keep them coming, i will never get tired of hearing how good i look. I have so much more self esteem now and it is the most wonderful thing to have. Well if i can ever help anyone in anyway please feel free to email me and for those of you who are about to have surgery GOOD LUCK !! Christina, what a difference!! you look great! i'm a little over 4 months out and have lost 83.6 pounds!! did you have any sort of "identity crisis" along the way to looking so different?? i'd love to hear your take on things! congrats again!! -caroline

Well I just wanted everyone to know the 19 of july it will have been 5 months since my surgery and i am down 79 pounds from 267 to 188, i went from to a size 22/24 to a 14/16 and I couldnt be happier.It has gotten much easier as the weeks go speeding by and i am so happy i chose to take this journey. Anyway i just wanted to keep everyone informed I will let you know how much more i have lost in another 3 or 4 months.

Well i went to see the dr., it has been three weeks and i am down 28 pounds and i couldnt be happier. I am amazed at this whole process. I am not gonna tell anyone it isnt difficult because it is, at least it has been for me but it does get easier with every passing day.I have my days when i wonder if it was worth it but when i am on the scale i get my answer.Anyway thank you all for your response and words of kindness. I will keep everyone updated. THANKS!!!
