After calling my insurance company 3 times this morning they have finally returned my call and said that they received the fax from my dr's office. So now it is on to the reviewer.... Keep your fingers crossed....

Well, I thought I would call my insurance company just to make sure they have all my paperwork that was faxed over friday and guess what???? They have no paperwork.... Never got a fax... I told the coordinator to call my insurance when she faxed it to verify that they got it..... Guess she didn't, nor did she return my call this morning.... So here we go with more waiting... Thank goodness I stay on top of everyone...

Just wanted to give everyone an update. I got a message when I got home from work today from Cathy and she said she faxed my papers to Great West on friday.... So I should have an answer in 2 weeks...Let's all do the approval dance. WooHoo... I keep y'all posted....

Hope everyone had a great weekend.... We went to Mountaineer in WV with friends to do some slot machines. Had a great time. We stayed overnight and enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. Drove home on the back roads looking at the Fall leaves and colors. It was a nice relaxing weekend. Now it's back to work. At least I have the concert to look forward to this week. I will give Cathy a call before I leave for work. Hopefully she has faxed everything to insurance. Let's start the week of good...
Mammogram today....

Today I went to the hospital and had my mammogram. It was my 1st one. Not too bad a little uncomfortable and now a little sore. I should get results in 5 days. I just called the surgeons office and the coordinator still has not faxed over my papers to my insurance. She has had them for a week now. This is a bit upsetting to me, but I guess she doesn't mind me calling daily to check... I have found if I don't keep an eye on things they just never get done. Sad to say CUSTOMER SERVICE is hard to get these days. I know that only ME is worried about ME so I must keep things on track. I have to go to Cleveland and pick up tickets I won from WGAR for the Montgomery Gentry concert next week. I can't wait to see them in concert.

I have been trying for almost 2 years to get approval for gastric bypass surgery. I just called the surgeons office and all the paperwork is in their hands now. Just trying to talk to the coordinator to see when she is sending it to my insurance comp. I had to complete 6 months of pcp dieting, psy evaluation, nutritionist eval, to meet their requirements. So it has been a long journey that hopefully will come to an end with successful surgery.
