"Dr. Kirshenbaum and his medical team where great. They called me the night before and answered questions that I may have had....The day of surgery which was held a Crown Point in Parker - the facility was clean and the employees were very nice and attentative....After I got in the OR and scooted over to the bed... I don't remember anything else until they woke me up in recovery.
Gave me a popsicles and constantly made sure I was not in pain or nauseated.
If I had to do it all over again I would still go with Kirshenbaum. Apparently I had a hernia that he removed also. I didn't even see that coming. This could be why I am a little more sore than I should be.
Dr. Kirshenbaum you ROCK..."
"Dr. Kirshenbaum made me feel at ease as soon as he walked in the room. He smiled, greated me warmly, chatted about real estate - shared a bit about his house and the thought of selling at one time. It was personal information about him that he shared openly, it really helped me to relax.
His staff was very friendly and when I started to cry Nicole grabed me by the hand and walked me to meet their "success" story. That inspired me more and told me that I made the right decision. Nicole gave me a hug and told me that I would be alright.
I loved everything about Dr. Kirshenbaum. He is warm and caring constantly asked me if I had questions, very detailed oriented - he knows his stuff.
He treated me like I was a person and a human being that mattered.
He is a great doctor and takes pride in his work. He shared stories of what not to do and told me he had two bad stories and after sharing them he said "please follow my instructions because I don't want a 3rd" then he smiled at me with his warm eyes. No 3rd coming from me that is for sure.
He told me about the risks and even showed me photos of what would happen if I didn't follow ALL of his instructions. He constantly told me to call him if I had any questions after leaving his office.
I would rate Dr. Kirshenbaum 250%.
His competence was outstanding - I have not experienced his bed side mannor yet but if he is like he was today - I am sure his bedside manner is the icing on the cake.
He told me about the support groups in his office and encouraged me to attend.
I had my nutritional consult with Paula over the phone and she is very good at what she does. She really helps you get to the root of things and she is very knowledgable on what you need to eat, the vitamins that you need to take and of course told you what would happen to you physically if you don't follow her instructions to the "T".
Dr. Kirshenbaums daughter leads the support groups.
I am estatic and very glad I chose him for my surgery - all the mixed feelings I had when I walked in his office went away after I met him."
