I am sure I'm not the only one who goes through this. But my family and friends are not being very supportive of my surgery. My parents especially keep telling me new diets to try and how they've lost weight doing this or that. One of my friends wants me to try these "special vitamins" which will help me miraculously lose lots of weight. I am starting to get really discouraged that no one seems on my side being my advocate for doing the best thing for me. I've lost weight before following diets but have never been down to a healthy weight nor kept the weight off for long.
