"The nurses were excellent. One of them had had bariatric surgery several years ago and it was nice to talk to her about her experience. The unit was a bariatriac unit so all the nurses are very experienced with taking care of bariatric patients and everything is specifically made for bariatric patients. Excellent care. "
"I liked Dr Evanson from the moment I met him. He was very straighforward and answered my questions about lapband vs roux en y very honestly. I had already read many studies about them and knew the roux was better but he also gave me other reasons why roux was a better choice for me personally. If you're looking for lots of hand holding you probably won't get it from him, but I think surgical competence is the most important thing. He was great at the bedside but again not touchy feely which I prefer anyways. I would give him a 10/10."
