Shay just got out of surgery an hour ago, and the doctor said it went fine and she should be home from the hospital in 4 to 6 days. Just wanted to let everyone know she took control, conquered her fear and went through with it. Benp

Shay - Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. A couple of weeks ago you did the same for me! Now I'm 15 days post-op and 18 pounds lighter! It is a little tough at first but better and better every day! Best of luck to you and let us know how you're doing!

Shay's surgery is coming up on Thursday, and everyone is really nervous. We all wish her the best. We will be at the hospital eagerly awaiting the good news. I will be posting another update right after the surgery to let everyone know what the status is. She's badgering me non-stop to post here and take care of my own stuff. I know its just her way of dealing with the stress, and of course we are all just going with the flow. Love you, mean it!! Benp
