Sherry, I too am a patient of Dr. Bollman! He is just awesome and although I know you are nervous, you are are right...he is very proactive! The shots (Lovenox) aren't near as bad to give yourself as you think. :-) You will do wonderfully. Not sure when your date is since it's not mentioned on your profile or surgery page, but good luck on it! You are in wonderful hands! Big hugs!!

Sherry~ I have BCBS of MA. I'm sorry I don't have insight for you. I am still pre-op awaiting a consultation on April 11th. I would be interested to know what you find out. I have a PPO and still unsure if the surgeon that I am meeting with is a provider in our PPO network. BCBS said they didn't show him as an in-network provider, but that doesn't mean that he isn't. ???? It's all so confusing and you get different answers from different people.
