I want to thank Susan for being my angel this week! She did a great job keeping everyone informed and is such a sweet lady. She actually had gorgeous tropical flowers sent directly from Hawaii to me! I would also like to say, I saw her for the first time since her surgery and she looks fantastic! Way to go Susan. You will be my motivation and inspiration.

Susan has been an inspiration to me. I work in the same building as Susan and have seen the weight "melt away" since her surgery. Susan has been so helpful in providing information about her experience. I am now waiting for the insurance approval...hope I am as successful as Susan!

Hi Susan! I just wanted to post on here and tell you how very much I love you and support your decision to have this surgery. For those of your supporters out there, I am Susan's younger sister, Lydia. I have also been obese my adult life. Susan, you have been an example to me for many years, exercising, weighing food, talking about good health. I always thought if anyone could lose weight, it should be you! I admire you for seeing that "traditional" methods weren't working for you. I want to thank you so much for the motivation your surgery has given me in looking at my own weight issues. I know I have spent the last 4 yrs doing the things I needed to do in order to shape up my life and live clean. But it has seemed like for a while I was ready to address my weight. If I can overcome the things I have, I should be able to give weight loss a true effort. I don't think I could be as courageous as you, in doing the surgery, yet I haven't spent the years of heartache really, really trying to lose weight. You know I am here for you and love you! I am proud of you. You are My hero! Lots of Love -Lyd

I'm home. Very sore and very tired but glad to be out of the noisy hospital. Now it's time to watch the incredible shrinking lady - HA! Thanks everyone for your support and prayers. I felt everyone.
