Final angel report: Hanging up my wings.... I am happy to say that I went to see Susan in the hospital tonight and she is doing great. She'll be heading home tomorrow to her computer so she can keep you guys posted. It's been fun to have met Susan and look forward to her support in my upcoming surgery. She's a great lady!

Angel report: Susan is doing better every minute! She got her 1st breakfast this morning (applesauce and broth) and is so far keeping everything down nicely. She said she actually had a craving for something sweet(that old brain thing). I will be visiting her this evening and she gets to go home tomorrow! Thanks for everyone's well wishes, I have printed her card and will deliver tonight. Have a great day everyone!

Hi, my name is Lorraine Frost. I am an old nurse friend of Susan's. I have been tracking her progress via her web site with much interest. Have tried to add a note to the site..for whatever reason, the message will not go through. Please tell Susan that my thoughts have been with her..that I will continue to pray for her speedy recovery and that she will soon be a mere shadow of her former self. Ha. Angel report: Talked to Susan a few minutes ago (1:45). She sounds Awesome! Sandie covered most of it except she is now sipping water and feeling pretty good (actually REALLY good). She also had to have her gallbladder removed (10 stones!), so that won't have to bother her in the future. I'm going to give her another day of rest and go visit tomorrow. I'll update more then. 3/7/01 - 10:50 a.m. Just spoke with Susan and she is doing well in spite of having a rather rough night. She has been unable to urinate so has a catheter until tomorrow. The morphine caused her itching so they gave her some Benydryl and she requested a med change to Demoral (sp). She has been up walking a few times and really wants a sip of water, which should happen around noon. She's been able to turn on her side without too much pain but I'm sure the drugs are helping with that. She sounds very positive, glad that it's over and anxious to get going again. Sandie

Susan's husband Fred called from the hospital and said that she is in her room and resting. The doctors told him the surgery was "textbook". WAY TO GO SUSAN! Congratulations and well wishes to the rest of the March 6th group as well. I hope to update tomorrow if Susan is up to taking calls.

Angel Report: I just called the hospital and they said Susan has been transferred to her room. I have not heard from her husband yet, but it sounds as though she has made it safely to the other side. I will update when I have more info. If you would like to sign her card, I plan on visiting with her tomorrow evening if she is up to it.
