Hi there Michelle, this is Tricia. I too am having my surgery at Pacific Bariatric and I too had to hassel with Kaiser, but you're right. You have to stay on them and it will happen. I have mine on January 9th 2002, with Dr. Tanaka. He was so booked but I got in.. thanks to Susan.. so I will keep you updated.. take care and I wish you a very safe and quick recovery... Tricia

HI THERE!! I AM THE HUSBAND OF THE LADY THAT JUST LEFT YOU A MESSAGE (NANCY) I ALSO HAD THE SAME SURGERY, SAME DR, DIFFERENT DATE. MINE WAS ON 10-9-01 AND I HAVE LOST 85 LBS. I wish you all the very best on your surgery. You are going to have one of the best surgeons around. I also had my wls with Pacific Bariatric on 6-28-01. I had Dr. Rumsey and just adored him. I have heard great things about your dr. too!! Scripps/Mercy hospital was great. The nursing staff there was wonderful. I have lost 75 lbs and tons of inches since my surgery.
