Did I show up a month or so ago when I became a member of this site? I am not sure now, because as I check for new members and go to their pages to welcome them, I see so many ppl have signed their pages and am wondering.......what happened to me....I think I am feeling sorry for myself...I just recently got a few comments on my page, that were directly related to some post I made on the message board........whaaaaaaaa, I am so sorry everyone, I am being a baby....Just depressed I guess. Over look me, tomorrow is another day. buhbye

Every child that is 17 should serve as president while they still know everything. There is not a teenager alive who didn't think they had all the answers and knew more than their parents. I know, I raised two of them. Understand that he is still a child and you are an adult who knows what is best for you. Do not look to him for support, but pull him in with, I appreciate your opinion, and let it go at that. Your family will be more supportive after the surgery. Before there is the fear factor to consider. You go and do what is right for you. Your life is waiting. If you are lucky you will be around when his 17 year old advises him on what he should do with his life! Good Luck.

Sheri, maybe your 17 yr old son is just afraid for you. This is just his way of expressing it. Afterall, at 17 he probably won't come out and say "I love you mom and I'm afraid of you having this surgery." Best wishes from another person waiting for her day to cross over to the losing side! Barb

Grrrrrr......Okay..today my 17 year old son tells me...."I dont think you need this surgery. I think that if you just get out and run up and down the road, you will lose the weight." What is up with this? Why can't my own family support me? Am I missing something. For years it has been, Sheri you need to lose the weight. Do it now or you wont be able to do it later. Grrrr!!! I wanna just hit someone. I am sick of all this non support, I am worried about you, you arent really that big.....BS!!! I gotta go cry....S
