Hello All!
Obesity, sadly, runs in my family. All my life, I have been overweight and have tried to "fight the fat" on more than a few occasions. Unfortunately, this is a battle I have not YET won, but WILL WIN! I have family members who are overweight and will never consider WLS as an option. Well, to each its' own and I want to live as healthy as possible.
Having a support system was the outlining reason for my downfall. However, with the use of this website and those willing to offer a helping hand (my husband included) I will FINALLY be successful with my weight loss goals with the use of this TOOL (VSG).
I can openly say that I am a little afraid of how my body might react and I am also a little apprehensive about anesthesia. Considering if I am approved, this will be my first surgery and I am just hoping to reach the results I have apparent in my mind. Again, I am open to suggestions/opinions/pointers, etc.
