Needing Advice
Feb 13, 2014
Hello to all who take the time out to read this post. If you've had the time to read my story, you know that like a lot of people, I'm having a hard time losing weight and keeping it off. I'm searching for advice on how to get approved for WLS the first time. My insurance is Midwest HMO and will officially be effective April 1, 2014. The doctor's I have had in the past would not assist me with weight loss (possibly because of my low-grade insurance) especially when it came to WL medication. It is unfortunate that I have not been able to afford a gym membership, nor did I have the funds to attend a weight loss program. I was hoping someone could give me some sound advice of how I could get my insurance company to approve me, despite all the factors working against me. Thanks for dropping by, hope to get some great advice before or by the time my insurance kicks in.
P.S. Forgot to mention that I am currently battling hypothyroidism, diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
