I am a 37 year single mother living in Orlando, FL. I am planning on having a revision from a VBG to RNY. At my heaviest I was 300. After the VBG my lowest weight was 230. I had my VBG September 4, 2001in St. Paul, MN. The terrible events of September 11th took place. I was laid off from my job at an airline shortly after. I lost my insurance. The Dr.'s office would not see me anymore because I did not have any insurance. After I had my stitches taken out I had no follow up or follow through. I was just trying to get back on my feet and get a job. So needless to say I was not successful with the VBG. After all of these years I am ready to turn the page on that part of my life and start a new chapter. I have a better job with a better airline, I have a new caring Doctor, and I am ready to have a new body to compliment my new life.
