My third day home from the hospital and I'm getting better every day. There was a brief period of time the second day after surgery that I even scared myself, wondering if I was going to make it, but with the help of all of you, your prayers, thoughts and good wishes, I made it through. Looking forward to being a "loser" very soon.

I am wishing you a safe and complication-free surgery and a quick recovery. Congrats on this courageous beginning of your new life. I had my open RNY on Dec. 10, 2001 and am so glad I did. Its the best thing I could have done for myself.
