Jennifer, I am having my surgery by Dr. Mary Murphy (Dr. Leo's daughter) on the same day as you, June 11th at noon at PB too! We will probably be in the same preop appointment on the 10th so I hope to meet you. Look for me.

Jennifer, Having surgery with undiagnosed/untreated sleep apnea can be deadly! Please read the memorial I wrote on my best friend, Ginger Brewster, on the memorial page of this website! Please get tested and if you have it, treated before surgery!

Jennifer, I was going to email you but there is no email address.. Yes!!!!! sleep apnea is dangerous if undiagnosed or treated.. if surgeons aren not aware of it, that could be a cause of stopping breathing.. in ICU you will get great care more than likely but once on teh ward you wil do with what is there.. so yes sleep apnea can be deadly if surgeon not aware...
