Chris, thankyou for your comment about stomach polyps. I am scheduled to have surgery on April 21 and am praying that it wont be postponed. I never had a problem with my stomach before. I wonder what causes polyps. by the way, I am sorry that you are having such a bad time right now. I will keep you in my prayers. Do you think you may have a stricture. One of the men in the support group I attend had to have that fixed. He is just fine now. Hope you are doing better. Thanks again. Peg Mills

Chris, My Dr. said for me to drink a minimum of 64oz of fluid...ie water, Koolaide...you can also count in popsicles etc. as fluid intake...At the stage you are, expect to eat 2oz's of soft food a meal. Cottage cheese, scrambled egg, tuna, fish. I made a great souffle with cheese and chicken or tuna...It is soft and yummy. You will increase your food intake at about 6 weeks to 4 oz. Believe it or not you will lose this weight. I'am 9 months out down to 150. Hope this helps alittle.

Chris, I have been really pouring over these boards since Aug and I find that what is happening to you (plateau at 3-6 weeks) is VERY common. I have read many say they upped their water intake. (the majority posts I read say this)...then the rest is re-evaluate your eating, cutting back any carbs. ANd of course the walking/excercise. I'm trying to keep a little hand written journal of the most common complaints so I have a quick reference if I have a problem. Anyhow I hope you get over this bump in the road and can start seeing good results soon. God bless. Jamie
