Dr. Brader is a wonderful man. He's very honest and straight-forward. I felt extremely comfortable with him at my consultation. I appreciated the fact that he didn't try to sugarcoat anything and wasn't afraid to answer any questions. He has personally performed over a thousand surgeries and sounds like he has come across every possible thing that could happen. The nutritionist was also fantastic. Very sweet and caring. Beautiful personality. The facility is amazing. Everything is oversized, so you fit comfortably. From the chairs to the doorways to the beds (although I haven't personally SEEN the beds). It's a brand-new building...I think they said it's 4 years old. If I had to have this surgery at a regular hospital with a regular surgeon, I probably wouldn't do it. But I completely trust the surgeons and staff at Barix Clinic because this is the only thing they deal with.rnrnOn the down side, I felt like some of the other staff members were a little rude. The MA that got all of my information seemed incredibly bored and even a little annoyed or burdoned by the fact that she had to help me. The girls on the phones also sounded a little impatient with the clients they were speaking to. But then another girl came to help me finish up because the others were all busy, and this girl was very nice.

I felt confident and secur with him.rnMy impression did not change over time I still feel confident that my surgen was the right choice for me. rnThe office staff were very friendly and nice. This question should be taken off there was nothing that I did not like about my surgeon. If you choosing a doctor who you will trust with your life. he is the right choice he is the only choice, he is very good at what he does. He emphasize alot. Yes it was very structured but also personal for me. He explained in very simple english exectly what will happen how it will happen and what to expect and what the risks are. Out of 100 I give him 150. He is the best doctor around. I think surgical competence is better and also important although my doctor posses both.rnPlease do not take this review as less informative, I am russian and if I did not like something about this doctor I would have told you. I am very honest and I know that if any of my family members or friends would ever need this surgery HE WILL BE THE ONLY CHOICE> I will recommend.

I found Dr Brader to be a terrific surgeon and a down to earth friendly man. He is very knowlegable and has specializes in bariatric surgery. He knows this surgery like the back of his hand. . He has done a ton of belly bands and orthoscopic gastric bypasses. There are a few other surgeons in the area that also do this surgery but they do other types of surgery. I wanted a focused specialist. I had a generalist do my knee replacement and I am worse off. (My first choice was prohibited a year after starting this surgery because he had too many leakers.) The Barix Clinic is brand new. The staff is great too. Everyone goes out of their way to be helpful. Some who work therer are ex patients. Dr. Brader has my implicit trust which I rarelyrngive away. He earned it. Very rare type of individual these days. the only short coming about the Barix center is they only do bariatric surgery so if something goes bump in the night they have to call 911 like evryone else. the offset to this is they are incredibly thorough in pre-admittance testing.

My first impression of Dr Brader was that he was very committed to seeing me through this procedure. At my 2 week post op my feeling was confirmed as Dr Brader acknowledged my weight loss as incredible for a lapband patient and he knew that I was committed to making this lifestyle change a committment. I was a little disapointed in the process prior to surgery but since then everyone has been great. I felt very comfortable about the lapband procedure. I had done a lot of research prior to seeing Dr Brader and he made me feel better by honest answers to my questions. I think the surgery experience went very well for me and would advise anyone thinking about it to do it.

I really liked Dr. Brader when I met him at my consult. Down to earth guy who was in no hurry to rush out of the room. Took his time explaining the entire procedure and even drew a diagram to show what exactly he would do. He also advised the risks of surgery and what complications could arise. Made me feel at ease with my decision to proceed with this surgery. I can't wait!
