Crestwood Medical Center Hospital

The only reason I answered average above was because of the night nurse I had. She was nice, but slow and didn't complete her duties as I saw it. Specifically, she expected my husband or myself to make sure my IV was plugged up and that my leg pumps were plugged up and turned on and that I had oxygen. That did not sit well with me or my husband.

I want to say that my average rating on parking was simply due to construction at the hospital. In case you haven't figured it out yet, I'm sold. Crestwood is a smaller hospital and I think that makes a difference. I had a private room and my mother was allowed to stay all night. The staff even brought her in a more comfortable chair to rest in. What more could you ask for?

My doctor puts his patients on the maternity floor of the hospital for the overnight stay. I had a private room and the only problem I experienced was that I had a delay in getting a nurse to help me out of bed (unhook some equipment) so I could walk and relieve the gas pains in my upper chest as a result of the surgery.

I arrived promptly at 8 am for my surgery and did not have to wait more than 5 minutes in the lobby before I was taken to a room in order to undress and prepare for the surgery. The staff was quick and very attentive. I generally have phlebitis as a complication in the vein where the I.V. is administered, but did not experience that problem at all with this surgery, but I don't know why. I was impressed with the anesthesiologist and the care she took to ask me health questions before administering the anesthesia. I did not have any nausea upon reawakening after the surgery, which has sometimes happened in the past following surgeries. I attribute this to the care the anesthesiologist took in my case. My experience with this hospital was very positive, and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested.

In good conscious could not recommend this hospital to a loved one. Period. My loved ones lives are too important.
I have asthma and hypertension. I feel that I did not receive adequate medications or care for these health issues. After having respiratory/asthma issues in the recovery room (for several hours) it seemed very odd that the ward nursing staff never really focused on my lungs or gave me my nebulizer medications. My BP was soaring and all the nurses did was to ask me to lay on my left side. I left the hospital and had to deal with these issues at home while in a tremendous amount of pain.
