I was treated very nicely by the nursing staff. Gracie was, by far, my favorite nurse. From the time I got to the hospital until I was discharged I felt very well taken care of.

I didn't even have housekeeping come in for two days to mop the floor or clean the restroom?! Never heard of a hospital that didn't take care of that.

I didnt know much about the hospital going in and I wish I would have. The surgeon and nurses and everyone that helped PRE-OP were awesome! Very relaxing and answered all questions. My first few hrs after recovery were great. I had an awesome nurse. Then after she went home that night, the rest of the stay went downhill. I found the majority of the staff to be ignorant when it came to things my what I could or couldnt eat and when and so forth. Trying to get someone in my room was almost impossible. I had a breathing emergency (asthma attack) and it took me hitting the button and trying to talk to them four times. I guess they finally got the hint when I was unable to answer each time. It took them over 30 minutes to come check on me after I rang the first time. That to me is unnacceptable and down right incompentant. When I was asked by the Dr. on the morning of the third day if I wanted to go home or stay a couple more days, I told him I wanted to go home. I honestly fealt like my health could be jeopardized if I continued to stay in the hospital.

The hospital itself is great. I did not have to more than 10 mins for appointments and test. But the nurse staff leaves alot to be desired

I was very pleased with my stay. The weightloss center within this hospital is called 'Bridges' and it's just for the overweight patient - with their needs in mind. The nutritionist is right there as well as educational classes, support groups and more to be sure the patient is a success with his/her choice for a new healthy life.
