OMG!! THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH FOR THE LAUGH!!!! I CAN SO, SO RELATE!! JUST YESTERDAY, MY 3 YEAR OLD, OUT OF THE BLUE, AS I WAS SITTING ON THE THRONE, SAID, "MOMMY, YOU HAVE BIG BUTT". MY HUSBAND WAS BRUSHING HIS TEETH, AND ABOUT SPIT TOOTHPASTE EVERYWHERE! (A FAMILY AFFAIR IN THE BATHROOM) I NORMALLY WOULDN'T SHARE THAT INFO., BUT AFTER YOUR POST ABOUT WONDERING IF YOU'D HAVE A BIG BUTT WHEN YOU'RE ON THE THRONE, I HAD TO TELL YOU THAT STORY. NEVER MIND THAT I'VE LOST ALMOST 140# NOW, HE HAD NEVER SAID THAT BEFORE, SO IT KIND OF HURT THAT IT CAME OUT NOW, AND WHY,? BUT I HAD TO LAUGH! THEN I TOLD HIM THAT WASN'T NICE TO SAY. YEAH, THE SKIN AND ALL STILL HANG OVER, I THINK YOU HAVE TO BE A SIZE 3 FOR IT NOT TO; BUT I MAY NEVER KNOW!! HANG IN THERE GIRLFRIEND, AND MAN, THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT LAUGH!! I LOVE YOUR REALISM!!! THANKS

Danielle, I read your post about craving diet pepsi, I drank so much diet coke pre-op I thought I would die without it. I had surgery on 8/15 and i would be out walking around NYC with my hubby and someone would walk by me with a Diet Coke w/ Lemnon and I would start to salivate. Well, when I saw my Nutrionist the beginning of Oct (1 was 6 wks out at this point), she gave me the OK to have a CAFFEINE FREE Diet Coke...Well, I had it, and I will tell you, IT TASTED NASTY. I also had a headache for 2 days after having it. I am so glad I did though, the cravings were killing me. I now give into my cravings, if I don't I'd kill myself, I am 5 mos out this past weekend and down 95lbs. I have found that alot of my cravings were "HEAD CRAVINGS" and once I gave into them, they were no longer there. Now, I am not saying this will work for you. but, I was a 6/day 20oz diet coke girl prior to surgery, so, I LOVED THEM...Good Luck, have a sip and you will be glad you did and you'll probably never have one again. There is no truth to the rumors that carbonation stretches your pouch! GOOD LUCK! Heather (open rny 8/15 305/210/150).

Danielle, I know how you feel.....that phase was a challenge at first....until I dusted off my old blender that I hadn't used in years!! I have to cook for my Mom and DH so whatever I made for them is what I ate too....just pureed first. I'm not a picky eater and I smooshed mine all together in the blender and made like an adult baby-food.......but being picky, you could do them seperately.....if it's just meat you will have to ad some kind of sauce or it wont puree right, you know, ketchup or bar b q sauce or gravy....whatever. But after I discovered that, I ate very well with lots of variety!!! Best of luck!!! HUGS!! Carol Percel
