Hi, Im Kim's angel. I would like everyone to post to her surgery page as it is coming up Dec 10th at Geary Community Hospital. Please let her know your thoughts are with her. I will be printing this off and taking it to her (unless we get serious,HEAVY snowfall.) while she is in the hospital!

Kim, we are surgery twins, I too am having mine on December 10! God bless you with a safe procedure and a smooth recovery. I'll be looking for your updates. Think of me on the 10th, I'll be thinking of all of us who are starting our new lives that day.

Hi everyone..this is Kim's angel w/ slightly skewed wings...I am mistaken..Kim's sister did not have surgery..but Cody's did. Kim is having her "Big Day" as scheduled on Dec 10.. please post to wish her well.

I offered to be Kim's angel, and she agreed. I talked to her via email yesterday. She is having surgery Dec 10 with Dr. Bollman. Her sister had her surgery today w/ Dr. Bollman also. I HOPE to have surgery w/ the same DOC. I will go by to see her while she is at the hospital UNLESS we have a major snowfall then! Good Luck, Kim.

Kim, just got your post that we are getting our "new lease on life" the same day, I am so happy for you. I too have not told my family beyond husband and kids but for different reasons-husband and kids are the BEST support I could ever hope for. Let's stay in touch. I will be praying for you!

Hi Kim! Congrats on your surgery date. Guess what, it is the same as mine. I know what you mean about being scared but it's exciting too!. I've not told many people, I am comfortable w/my decision, have super support from my husband and children and from my primary care physician, still it is a very personal decision that I have chosen not to make public knowledge outside the wls support realms at this time. I attend a great wls support group and that has made a world of differenc. Best wishes!
