Janet came home Monday. Congratulations. She is feeling a little pain in the incision area, which is normal. However she is feeling hungry alot, I told her it is probably head hunger. Does anyone have any advice for her, as I do not remember feeling like that the first week or so.

I would like to thank everyone for their support and well wishes over the last month... and especailly since November 16th. I just got home from the hospital. I started out great after the surgery... was up and walking and doing great! Then yesterday... they took away my morphine, and I was no longer superwoman. I now understand the pain everyone spoke of... Health wise, I'm doing great... couldn't be better... I JUST CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THE PAIN STOPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Janet, Wow...that is great to read that you came through your surgery just great and were already up and walking on Friday! Fantastico! Walk, rest, have your ice chips, water or whatever they're offering you, and you'll be back home in no time. Please let us all know how you're doing. Hugs, Joy in CA

Happy Birthday to Janet. You are now an official "LOSER". Janet had surgery Friday morning and is doing great. Looks like she will be going home tomorrow! I visited with her Friday evening at 3:00 pm and she was up walking already. You go girl!!! I am grateful to have met such a wonderful person. I am glad to be her angel and to be able help her along the way. Sincerely,

Janet~Woohoo. Go girl. Congrats on your trip to the "other side". I was happy to get to speak to you. Keep pressing that pain med button, it does wonders. Glad to hear you are doing so well. Walk, walk, walk. Take care~I'll call again tomorrow. :)

Hi, Janet's surgery was scheduled for 9:45 this morning. I am getting ready to call the hospital and see if I can find out anything. I have to get ready to go to Virginia now. I will update as soon as I find something out. Her Angel,

With a tear in my eye, I want to thank everyone for your support. You all have come to mean the world to me, and I could never have done this without you. I will keep your thoughts and your words with me while I am in the hospital going through my segway into my new, lighter life. I love you all!
