Angel Update...I just got off the phone with Annette and the surgery went well yesterday. The Dr's had to fix a small tear in her liver and do some work on her spleen. Its amazing what we walk around with and is not found until they open us up. She has been up and walking around and does use our best friend, the pain pump. Welcome to the other side Annette.

Well, good morning all. This is my last morning on this side of the track. I had a great night's sleep and I feel that I am very ready. Thank you all so much for the love and prayers. I can't wait to see you on the other side.

Pre angel work....Annette is having her surgery in just two days. How about taking a moment this holiday weekend and send some words of encouragement, us post-ops know how much these notes mean.

Hello everyone. Boy what a busy day. I spent 5 hours at the BTC in Wylie, Texas today having all my pre-op done. I was sad to say good-bye to my Colas. I know it is a little sacrifice, but I thought I had until Monday. Oh well, mind as well get started. I can't wait to reach the other side. Thank you all for your prayers and concerns. This site has been a tremendous source of help and strength to me.
