OH My Goodness! trophie99 should be Mexico right now preparing for surgery in the morning! I'll call on Wednesday because I'm assuming she'll sleep through most of the day Tuesday. Please remember her in your prayers as this is an AWESOME thing to do so far away from home and alone. But, she's not really alone, she has a competent doc and staff and ALL OF US to love her through it! If you haven't already, please take a moment to post to her surgery page. All those well wishes will surely mean the world after she gets home.

Trofie - I will be praying for your success and quick recovery! Also I want you to know how courageous I think you are. It is hard for most of us to go across town for this, and you are going out of country by yourself! you may not realize what an inspiration you are to a lot of people. I really wish I had the money to go with you just to keep you company, even though I don't know you. I do know that next week when I go to Denver for my surgery and I'm having all those last minute thoughts about running the other way, you are the one I will think about - I'll tell myself not to be such a wimp - look what Trofie did!

Trofie, We spoke in chat a few times and I know exactly how you feel about the cigarette issue. I am so glad that you were able to have some smoke free days before your surgery. I know you will do well. Congratulations on your upcoming surgery. I pray that God continues to bless you with an uneventful surgery, speedy recovery and a fantastic weight loss. See you on the "losing side."
