Karen, , I am wishing you a safe, complication-free surgery and a quick, smooth recovery. I had my Open RNY on 12/10/01 and have absolutely NO regrets other than not having done it several years sooner. Its, without a doubt, the best thing I could have done for myself. HI KAREN I JUST WANTED TO WISH YOU LUCK ON YOUR SURGERY. I JUST HAD SURGERY ON JAN 14, 2002 AND AM DUE TO GO BACK TO WORK ON MARCH 14. ALTHOUGH IT DOES TAKE A LITTLE GETTING USED TO I AM VERY HAPPY TO HAVE HAD MY SURGERY WE HAVE ABOUT THE SAME BMI TO START SO FAR I HAVE LOST 41LBS IN JUST 7 WEEKS!
