Dear Lori, I want to wish you all the very best on your journey into a better and healthier life. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. I will be having surgery the same day as you are; I know we are making a better life for ourselves. Remember: Walk, Walk, Walk, Cough, Cough, Cough!

Hi Lori, I'm so excited for you! I wanted to let you know that my surgery date is also Oct. 1, with Dr. Roll in Fairfax, Va. If your having your surgery at FairOaks Hospital we will be there together. I live in Culpeper, VA. right outside of Warrenton, and work for Fauquier Co. Schools. My co-worker, Donna Corbin had the surgery back in March and has now lost 65lbs. and feeling great. Hope everything goes well for you and that we will get a chance to meet before we become posties. I am excited and afraid of what I'm doing but feel in my heart I'm doing the right thing for me. I will keep you in my prayers.

Hi Lori, welcome to the AMOS family. You are a LUCKY lady to have everythin come together so fast and easy. Like maybe this was meant to happen for you? Don't you dare think this is the easy way out or that you are somehow less of a person because of this. If you needed a kidney transplant or a heart bypass to improve your life, it would not be a question. This is no different. Your body just doesn't work the same way as others. This is a disease! You are going to be great and you are going to be healthy and happy and lead the way for many more people who will look at you and say, hey...maybe there is something I can do! Good Luck to you Lori. We are all pulling for you!

LORI--I wanted to be the first, but guess someone beat me to it!!!!! I am SO PROUD OF YOU ! I guarantee you won't regret the decision. If you've seen me lately at work, you can see the surgery is obviously working and will continue to work because of supportive friends and family and especially some special co-workers. Can't wait to talk to you more -- Marilyn (c-squad)
