Shannon, I am praying for you to get through this rough time. I know right now you are wondering why you ever did this, but soon it will be over and you will start down the road to recovery. Just keep up your spirits and tell yourself that all will be fine soon. All of us are keeping you in our thoughts and reading that message board to see how you are doing.

Shannon I am so very sorry to here of your sever sickness. I just read the post and that led me to read your profile. You seem to be such a sweet sweet person and my heart goes out to you. I will pray for you and I want you to have a speedy recovery. Hang in there girl everything will be just fine. I know that it doesn't seem like it right now but it will get better. I'm sorry that it has been so long. I have been updating the yahoo site when I remembered that I hadn't updated this. Well they did go back in on Shannon on April 5th. Though that surgery went fine while they were taking her tube out Shannon threw up. That caused fluid to get into the lungs. She was doing really good but on Saturday had a turn for the worse. Her mother explained after that anything that could go wrong has. The Dr's are very optimistic though. Because of Shannon's age and because Shannon is a fighter they think she can pull through this. Right now everything is in Gods hands. We need everyone's prayers right now. Shannon I know when you are feeling better and you read this you will think how crazy it was for me to write it. You knew that it would all be ok. I love you and I am praying for you daily-Ann

Hi everyone- I just wanted to say that I just got off the phone with Shannon's mom and they had to go back in. I am guessing that it was a kink and not just swollen. At that point they didn't know anything because she was still in surgery. I am going to call back in a little while and see if she is out. I will update then and tell everyone how she is. This is a very hard time for Shannon so lets all keep her in our prayers-Ann

Hi everyone..I found out today that they had to readmit Shannon today. It seems like it wasn't "frothing" but actually a block in her intestines. Dr. Olsen doesn't know yet if the block is a kink or if the intestine is just swelled. Shannon will have to stay in the hospital until Friday atleast. They will do another x-ray then and if it is swelling she will be released. If it turnes out to be a block they will have to go back in. Lets all keep our fingers crossed for her. Please say a prayer for her tonight. I will keep everyone updated on how she is.-Ann
