Renee. I'm so sorry to hear about your pneumonia and other complications. I'm glad to hear you are home though and it sounds like you're on the road to recovery. Please know that there are many people from this site keeping you in their thoughts and prayers. You will come out of this stronger than ever before and it will be a faint memory a year from now when you are healthy, happy and at your goal weight. I wish you all the best:)

Renee, Keep doing your breathing exercises,in, out, in, out,;-) Good deep breaths. It's really important you get your fluids. I hope you feel better soon. Use those 50 feet of tubing to start jumping rope.LOL Even sitting you can do arm exercises which will help your breathing. Keep smiling.

Well let me tell ya I have been through HE** in the past 4 weeks!!!! I got pneumonia(sp?)right after surgery and was in the hospital for 2 weeks had to have 2 blood transfusions(sp)cause I was losing blood from some where could not figure out where from.I was on oxygen the whole time I was in,and guess what I am still on oxygen...yep good old huge oxygen machine sitting in my living room with me hooked up to it like a dog(i do have a fifty foot leash though)oh yea and if I feel like it I can go for a ride with my oxygen tanks, what a way to travel. The reason I am still on the oxygen is because I still have all this thick fluid in my lungs and they are trying to see if it will dry up on its own,so I need my oxygen to keep me from drowning, and I just am not doing good at all.I will be on oxygen for 2 more weeks and then I guess I will see what eles can happen to me.

I visited Renee in the hospital on Friday, Aug 31. She developed pneumonia right after surgery and has had to stay. She is hoping to go home soon. She is a little depressed because she has been in the hospital so long. She is worried about her daughter who is also upset because her Mama is still not home. Please send her your support and prayers.
