Well, thanks to everyone who supported me during the surgery. I am officially 1 week post-op and have lost 13 lbs. The staples have come out and I really hope to return to work next week. I am really gratefull to the doctors, nurses, hospital and staff for all their help and especially for my Angel, (*/) Joycelyn. I cannot express how much her support and help have been. My angel is wonderful and this site is wonderful too.

Cliff and I visited Patricia in the hospital today. She is in good spirits. Only problem is from her asthma, but the respiratory therapists at that hospital are WONDERFUL (I speak from experience!) and are watching her carefully along with treatments. She will probably go home tomorrow. Her children are tremendously supportive -- They have all the details worked out to provide a supportive, loving nest while she recuperates! God bless you, Patricia! Jocelyn (her angel)

Just spoke with Patricia. She is doing very very well. Got the NG tube out this morning so of course was very happy about that. Feels good, a little pain, but no nausea. I'll be going to see her tomorrow around 1 p.m. Her children, Will and Anastasia, are right by her side and extremely supportive. She is very blessed and I know with her strong spirit she will be up and around in no time. Jocelyn (her Angel)

It is 5:00 pm and I just hung the phone up from Patricia. Although I couldn't really understand her, I did hear her say that she was doing okay... The incision area was a bit sore, but all in all, she came through it with flying colors! I will talk to her again tomorrow.
