Hi Everyone! Christa Biondi reporting on Jeanine Ostroff again. I called the hospital a couple times today but couldnt get through due to the fact that she was sleeping. I briefly spoke with her nurse tonight and he said he couldnt give me much information because I was not family but he did give me some. He said that she had a pretty rough day because the morphine wasnt agreeing with her but they changed her medication and she has been doing good ever since. She was sleeping comfortably. She had been up and walking a few times today which is WONDERFUL!!! So again I will attempt to call her at the hospital tomorrow because I will not be content until I speak with her. He voice helped me so much in the hospital and if I can give her back half of what she gave me then my efforts will be well worth it!!! You all have a good night and I will update tomorrow!!!

Hi, Jeanine. I was so glad to read the most recent update on you. I kept you in prayer on the day of your surgery and will continue to do so. I know you will have a GREAT recovery free from complications. I will be joining you soon on the other side compliments of Dr. Monk, so of course- I will be checking in OFTEN to see how things are going for you. NJ

Hi! Christa Biondi here...unofficial angel on duty for Jeanine Ostroff. I just spoke with her husband Jeff and he said that everything went smoothly during the surgery and that she was doing fine when he last saw her at 6PM. They were planning on getting her up to walk later on during the evening. WELCOME TO THE OTHER SIDE GIRLFRIEND!!! I will be calling Jeff again tomorrow to get the number to the hospital so that I can get an update from Jeanine directly. Lets keep Jeanine in our prayers as we all know how trying the first week can be!!!!! I will continue to update on Jeanine's progress on a daily basis. Please stop by Jeanines' surgery page and leave a message as I know first hand how encouraging those messages can be when you get home from the hospital. Thanks everyone!

WELL THIS WILL BE THE LAST TIME I POST ON THE MESSAGE BOARD, TILL AFTER MY SURGERY ON MONDAY. I AM A BIT NERVOUS, NO I AM ALOTTTTTT NERVOUS, ACTUALLY I AM SCARED TO DEATH. BUT I AM TRYING TO KEEP IT UNDER CONTROL. I WILL BE AT THE YORK HOSPITAL, IN YORK PA, AT 8:45AM FOR SURGERY AT 11AM, WITH DOCTOR MONK, ON MONDAY THE 14TH. ALSO WISHING ALL MY MAY 14TH BUDDIES HAVING THIS SURGERY ON THE SAME DAY, THE VERY VERY BEST, AND WILL SEE YOU ALL, ON THE OTHER SIDE. MAY THE GOOD LORD PROTECTS US ALL, DURING OUR TIME OF NEED. ALSO PRAYING FOR EVERYONE ELSE LOOKING, HAVING, OR HAD THE SURGERY. I PLAN TO BE UP MOST OF THE NIGHT ON THE 13TH. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL THE MOTHER'S. HOPING YOU ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!. Jeanine, Thanks for the well wishes on my recent surgery. I am almost 3 weeks post op and I feel wonderful and have been right from the get go. Keep a postitive attitude and you'll be up and about in no time. I wish you the best of luck and I'll see you on the other side! Feel free to email mw with any questions :)

Hi Jeanine! Thanks for e-mailing me and letting me know that we have the same wls date (14th)!! I'am excited yet nervous, I do know that I have God on my side and to also know that someone else is having the same procedure on the same day gives me even more comfort!!
