Sorry, Rosemary, about the previous posting. I read your surgery date wrong. I am sorry you are having trouble with insurance approval. I know it is hard to wait once you have decided you want the surgery. I will pray for you. Love, Susan

Thank you for your encourging words, especially now. I am still scared but no this is the right choice. You will have yours because I know if you keep asking the right people someone will help. Dear WLS friends I'am still to get my insurance company to approve my surgery', but I will never give up. My PCP is now on my side so mybe he can with the insurance company I need you all to pray for me love you all.

Sorry wls friends that I'am just getting back to you this is 11/13/01. But I'am just getting were I even feel like talking about this. I was all set to go for my surgery 9/26/01 but the day before my surgery was to happen my Dr. office called me to tell me that the insurance company Uncare HMO said I had no benefits to cover this surgery or any weight loss help, my Dr. told them that my life depended on this they said no'. I really need some help on this if anyone out there with Uncare HMO and was approved for this surgery I need to know?. I would like for all of you to ask for help for me anyone with Unicare HMO in the state of IL. to let me know by email ruegalleree@hotmail.com my husband never wanted me to have this, but I know what is best for me and my health. You all know no what I'am going though I love you all and I need you all to help me fight my insurance company I have used on appeal so fare, I need to win so I can live.
