Hi Jenn. I hope recovery is treating you well. I read your profile and see you've made it back to work===Good for you! I do hope it hasn't been too challenging for you returning so soon after surgery. Your weight loss has been incrediable! Certainly a congratulations is in order for you!!! I am so proud of your strength and courageous demeour; What you did and are doing is certainly no easy path to travel on. Hi Jen, I tried to send to your email but it said full so i went here. Hope all is well. I have my consolation on Feb 6 with DR jawad and they wanted me to get a letter stating they will approve the one visit. Well, my PCP was to send the letter for that approval and insurance company thought it was for the actual surgery so now I dont know if I should tell them (my insurance company) it is only for consolation. Or just get them the stuff they want now. They want a letter for med. nessary, medical history and physicals, and physic evaluation. So what do you think I should do IM going to my PCP on wed the 8 th and try to get more done or get it started. IM also going to get her to put me on a diet pill so I can go ahead and start to lose this awful weight. Me and my mother n law are going to start going to the gym. well hope your doing better and how much weight have you lost now? Hope Christmas was good and you had a good New Years! Jennifer, Everyday will get better now. You are a loser and only more weight loss ahead.You came through like a trooper and maybe right now you would not reccommend this procedure but wait until about 4 to 6 weeks later and you will excitely say yes.It was the best thing I ever did. Hi Jenn, Congrats on your decision and courage to take on a new way of life! So you're 3 weeks out. . . how's it going? My RNY date is 1/13 so I'm watching you brave folks ahead of me . . . like a hawk! *smiles* . . . Hope you are getting back on your feet, but being very gentle and self nurturing in the process. Hi everyone! I just wanted to encourage some to give Jenn some support. She's 21 days out from Lap-rny and is probably getting to the point where she's wondering: "Why did I do this?" I'm sure most post-op's can concur with that thought? Anyway, please send her some encouragement that she made the right decision and with healing time it becomes so much better! Thanks Amos friends. Hi Jenn. I just read your update, and I'm glad you're home! Now I know why no one was answering your phone in the hospital Friday and Saturday---you weren't there! Please take it easy----remember that you just had major surgery and your body needs much rest and time to heal-----please allow that to happen.
