Good Morning all - Well I am on the otherside 7-days post-op...and what an experience!! First of all I want to say thank you and ^j^ hugs for all those who have showed not only myself the support but supported other. When asked why I did not request an Angel from this site...it was not because I did not need one, it was that there are so many out there that do need one and my husband was totally GREAT (stay every nigh all 5 nights with me) As for the surgery - I had a complication but I wnat to make it VERY CLEAR it was not because I had WIEGHTLOSS surgery, it would have happen no matter what kind of surgery I had....It was congestive heart failure - I felt like I was suffocating and could not get enough air post-op...is this life threatening...yes, was scrare - yes but not of lossing life over...I was preparted (thanx to this site) and I complained and did so loudly...I was put on oxygen, and my IV was lowered, I was monitored by everyone. They also diagnosed sleep-apnea...but I knew I had that...was not concerned because for me the main cure is losing weight!! Recover from surgery for me has not be toooo bad as of yet...belly muscles are sore..pain level goes between 3 -6 on a scale to 10....no problems with food....it's amazing what they will feed you in the hospital and it is amazing at how quickly we adapt...LOVE THAT sugar free yogurt & flat Diet Mt. Dew....pre-op I thought I was never going to "do the dew" again...because I WOULD REFUSE TO DRINK ANY THING FLAT and believe I was a "Dew Addict" Now the first thing my DH does in the a.m. is open a can so it starts loosing it's bubbles...okay, I have rambled...Love & Prayers to all!! Good luck to all who are going into surgery soon....and anyone with questions, Please feel free to email me chance2lv@aol.com Karan - Post op 7 days
