LINDA - About a week and a half ago, I posted a comment on the message board about people asking for clothes, PROMISING to send postage money, and then NOT sending it. I am out almost $50 in the last two months for being KIND to a stranger-someone who HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS I HAD !! I felt used and duped, and yes, it made me very angry. The one box of clothes I sent to the West Coast contained far in excess of $600 worth of clothes, 95% of which still had the 'cleaning tags' on them ! Someone mentioned that maybe people were asking for things, and then maybe selling them for profit, like at yard sales, etc. I would hate to think someone would be that sneaky and deceitful, but after being duped not once, but twice, I'm starting to re-think my outlook. If you care to share the name of the person who scammed you, I would be interested. I would never reveal your email to anyone. If you don't wish to do that (and I do understand), please, at least, tell me where you sent your packages. I would be very interested to know if they were to the same people. In all likelihood, it isn't, but if it is, then I think I would be forced to post something to warn other people who try to be kind and generous, too. Anyway, hope you have a good holiday. Like me, it's best to put this anger and frustration in the past, but it is still very annoying !
