Long-distance angel update: Only 2 more days until Dawn's long awaited surgery. Please take the time to wish her well and add her to your prayers. She is a very special person and desperately wants and needs this surgery. She has been a great friend to me this past year. I only wish we didn't live so far apart so that I can do my angel duties in person.

Dawn, Congrats to you on making a step that will bring you good health and a longer life. This surgery is just the most amazing thing!! Take excellent care of yourself. Use the pain meds as much as you need them, walk those halls and WATCH the food that the hospital brings you. Question everything that goes on!! Dawn, As a person that is having WLS three days after you I asked myself what whould I want to hear this close to my surgery. I would want to hear that I am being prayed for and that my decision is the right one. I pray that your recovery will be fast and beyond your hopes. I ask that God watch over you and bring your through safely to the other side. Walk, cough and breathe deep as you being your new life. You are making the right choice to make a new life for yourself. God Bless you.
