Dearest Dawn...I too had many serious post-op complications including an unexpected splenectormy and another surgery four days later to repair a leak and remove part of the stomach. Now I only relay these details because six months later I am feeling so good that I can hardly believe it. MY MESSAGE to you--there is HOPE. Try not to get too discouraged. This too shall pass and it will be the beginning of a whole new happy chapter in your life. Hang on and someday, you will be able to look back at all this and realize it was worth it--I PROMISE. You are in my thoughts and prayers for a complete and quick recovery.
