Well, here I am six months after surgery and I'm a total sucess. I've lost 90 lbs. to date and feel amazing. I haven't felt this healthy in so long I can't remember. People are telling me how terrific I look but more then that I love how I feel.
I can walk and my joints don't hurt. I'm off my high blood pressure medicine. My sleep apnea is all but gone. I don't snore like I use to. I feel pretty. Somewhere along the way I gained weight and still liked myself but now I feel good and like myself even better for having taken this journey.
I feel I have a new relationship with food. I can have anything but in smaller portions. This is the lifestyle change that has changed me and will continue my journey.
I saw my doctor for my six month checkup and he's very pleased. Another 15 lbs. should do it where I'll be a my correct BMI.
This has been life changing, and one of the best things I've ever done for myself.
To those of you who are considering this surgery I HIGHLY recommend it. It gave me my life back
