"Amazing!!!! Dr. V has such a nice way about him. I felt comfortable from the first visit that I had the right surgeon and his team was the best. The support meetings are so important to the whole process. I've met so many other nice people there and have learned alot from them. He makes it clear that the surgery is only part of the journey and that you have to make lifestyle changes. The support groups gets you through those hurdles and you get to pay it forward to new patients. Miriam Hospital provided excellent care and I would highly recommend this program.

"Can't say enough nice things about my experiences with Dr. V and his staff. I feel they educate their patients in what is expected of them and how to prepare for WLS. I also love the support groups. I found followup after surgery was very helpful. Keeping a diet log is huge and very helpful.
You will probably have a long wait at office appointments I think partly because sometimes the appointments take longer and Q & A take longer.
But, when you have your appointment I've never felt rushed. I'll have questions written out and Dr V and his staff always gives 100%.
You will have scheduled followups and I always felt comfortable calling if I had a question or concern.
